Hon Kiraitu Murungi is a household name and is currently vying for the gubernatorial seat seeking a second term on a Devolution Empowerment party(Mbus) ticket that is in the Azimio La Umoja Coalition.His experience as veteran politician,having been in active politics since the 90s,makes him the most qualified candidate for the seat.


As a governor,the work he has done in his first term in office as the governor is commendable and for sure his vision is to make Meru great.Infrastructure wise,he has seen to it that tarmac roads have been built across Meru county at a rate never seen before.Better roads means that businesses get to thrive as people can carry on with their daily affairs without worrying about the state of the roads.


Thanks to the right honourable Kiraitu Murungi countless students have been educated because he believes that education is the key to unlocking the future.He firmly believes that the leaders of tomorrow should never have to worry about education irregardless of their background for it is their God given right.


Popularly known as 'King'ang'i',he wants to empower the people both socially and economically for once everybody is empowered  then Meru will  become a benchmark for other counties across the country and will be emulated.Already he has done so much to uplift the living standards of the people and wants to continue doing so.


Hon Kiraitu Murungi is keen on living a legacy that will be remembered for ages hence come 9th of August this year all votes should go to him;the leader that we all need and deserve in order to propel Meru to greatness.
