Hon Kathuri Murungi Speaks At Global Platform UNESCO

 


Meru county senator,who also doubles up as the Deputy Senate speaker,Hon Kathuri Murungi recently addressed the global platform UNESCO.The right honourable represented the people that voted him in and Kenyans at large.


The Senator spoke about the education sector and how it needs to be revamped in order for children to get quality education that will benefit them in the future.He said that the Kenya Kwanza government;headed by His excellency  Dr Willliam Ruto,is committed to seeing a population of educated young people because education is key.


Hon Kathuri Murungi also spoke about science as a tool of fighting poverty in the community.He believes that if used well science could be life changing for millions of Kenyans languishing in poverty.


Our African heritage based on our culture is something that the Meru Senator is sure will uplift the livelihoods of many Kenyans as Kenya is rich in culture.By promoting our culture,the tourist flow in our country will increase as long as we are proud of our heritage;the sky is the limit.


Hon Kathuri Murungi also stated that by promoting the communication and information sector,many qualified youths are bound to get employed.According to him this is a hugely untapped sector that needs to be looked at in order to empower the young Kenyan citizens who are full of potential.


In conclusion,the right honourable talked about fostering mutual understanding and respect for our planet.The Senator was clear and concise in stating that global warming is imminent and that something needs to be done before it is too little too late.
