Meru MCAs Walk Out On Governor

 


Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza was recently disgraced by Members of County Assembly as they stormed out of the building as soon as she started addressing them.To her utter dismay,she was left addressing empty chairs.Due to the awkwardness of it all,the speaker had to adjourn the meeting.


The MCAs went ahead to chant demonstration songs calling for the ousting of the current Governor.Just after they stormed out the MCAs addressed the press bitterly claiming that she came to the premises accompanied by goons which according to them wwas totally unacceptable.


Embattled Governor Kawira Mwangaza was also accused of pride and arrogance as she supposedly takes matters into her own hands without consulting other leaders as is expected of someone in her position.


Kawira Mwangaza later defiantly addressed a gathering at the County Assembly gate before she left but thankfully the police dispersed the crowd with teargas before the situation escalated.


What was clear for all to see is that all is not well in paradise.There is a huge possibility that the current Governor may be impeached which will be huge blow to her as she had held a spirited campaign promising to unite the people of Meru which has been an uphill task for her
