R.I.P GMO


Kenyan Peasants League(KPL) members recently delivered a petition to the Sugarboard office in Westlands and held a demonstration against Genetically Modified Organisms.


KPL believes that GMOs are affecting farmers across the country in a negative way and that something needs to be done before the situation becomes dire.


There is solid proof out there that GMOs kill as they can cause diseases such as cancer hence shortening one's lifespan significantly.The government needs to ban GMOs for the sake of Kenyan citizens as they deserve better than death on a silver platter.


Multinational companies are making a lot of money out of selling Genetically Modified Organisms to unsuspecting farmers who are not aware of the risk involved.GMO products such as oranges don't have seeds hence farmers can't replant the oranges.


In conclusion,the Kenyan Peasants League demonstration was successfully carried out despite security forces warning them not to conduct them for this is a cause worth fighting for and we should rise up against the system and call for the death of GMOs;Comrades Power!
